１年生の北信州学の授業では、北竜湖を訪れてカヌーを体験しました。講師の方から説明を受けてパドルの動かし方などを確認すると、バディを組んで二人乗りのカヌーに乗りこみ、歓声をあげながら湖に漕ぎ出していきました。最初は迷走していたカヌーもありましたが、数分後には操作にも慣れたようで、初秋の湖上を満喫していました。
First-year students visited Lake Hokuryu for a Kita-Shinshu Studies class and took part in canoeing. After listening to the instructor’s guidance and learning how to use the paddles, they set out in two-seater canoes, with their voices full of excitement. Some groups had trouble steering at first, but within minutes they learned how to control the canoe and enjoyed gliding across the calm lake. Surrounded by the early autumn scenery, the students had a memorable outdoor experience.
