On Monday, August 26th, we had the first school assembly of the 2nd semester in the gym. In his speech, the principal said:
“There is a proverb: ‘A person who chases two rabbits will catch none.’ However, in the second semester, I want you to chase THREE rabbits. The three rabbits are: studying, classroom and student council activities, and family and community activities. I am not asking you to catch all of them at the same time, but I do want you to CHASE them, that is, to actively pursue them at a different time.”
After the speech, students heard a report about the Soba Club’s achievements in two summer competitions, and everyone celebrated their success. Maybe this honor also came because they chased their rabbits with all their efforts.
Now, with summer not yet over, the second semester has begun—the semester to chase three rabbits.
