関東が猛暑日となった８月６日、本校農業クラブ会長中澤さん（３年）は、在日フランス大使館（東京都港区南麻布）で開かれた見学会に参加しました。これは昨年度の全国農業高校・農業大学校デジタルコンテスト（主催：慶應義塾大学SFC研究所アグリプラットフォームコンソーシアム）において、本校が受賞したフランス大使館賞の副賞です。
農務参事官ジェローム・ペルドロー様、農務担当官水田様に出迎えられ大使館入りした中澤さん。会の冒頭およそ１５分間、本校についてフランス語でプレゼンテーションしました。引き続き参事官様らによりフランスの農業や同大使館の広報におけるSNSの活用について、わかりやすく説明していただきました。質疑応答をへて両国の農業や広報について理解を深めることができました。
ティータイムの後、大使公邸外縁を案内していただきました。そこは江戸時代の大名屋敷跡地とのことで、日本庭園にフランス様式の建築物が違和感なく溶け込んでいる素敵な空間でした。
中澤さんは、またとない機会に恵まれ貴重な経験ができよかったと話していました。フランス大使館と主催者の方々には、貴重な機会をいただき心より感謝いたします。
On August 6th, during a very hot day in the Kanto region, our Agricultural Club president, third-year student Nakazawa, joined a special tour of the French Embassy in Japan (Minami-Azabu, Minato-ku, Tokyo). This opportunity was given as part of the French Embassy Prize, which our school received in last year’s National Digital Contest for Agricultural High Schools and Colleges, hosted by Keio University’s Agri-Platform Consortium.
At the embassy, Nakazawa was welcomed by Agriculture Counsellor Jérôme Perdreau and Agriculture Officer Mizuta. He began with a 15-minute presentation in French about our school. After that, the Counsellors explained French agriculture and how the embassy uses social media for public relations. Q&A session followed, giving us a chance to learn more about agriculture and communication in both countries.
Later, Nakazawa was guided through the courtyards of the ambassador’s residence. The site once belonged to a feudal lord in the Edo era. The mix of French-style buildings and Japanese gardens created a beautiful and unique scenery. Nakazawa said he was very thankful for such a rare and valuable experience.
