「やる気を出すにはどこで勉強したらいい？」そんな相談や悩みに対するアドバイスを英語で書いた後、実名ではなくハンドルネームが記されたアドバイスを読み、生徒同士で読み合って評価しました。重要な情報を抜き出してそれぞれのアドバイスの概要を掴み、自分の学習スタイルに合うか、理由や説明などは納得するか、などを踏まえて２つのアドバイスにいいねシールを貼りました。３年生の実用英語では、このような日常場面での英語使用に力を入れています。
“Where should I study to feel more motivated?” Students gave advice in English to answer this common question or concern. After writing their own responses, they read and evaluated advice written by their classmates, all shared under handles instead of real names.
They picked out key information from each piece of advice and tried to understand the main message. Then, thinking about whether it fit their own learning style and whether the reasons or explanations made sense, each student gave “like” stickers to two pieces of advice they found helpful. This activity is part of the 3rd-year English elective class, where students practice using English in real-life situations.
