下高井農林高校農業クラブは6月9日、飯山市フラワーロードガーデン（飯山城址）において、花壇苗を定植しました。これは回遊性のあるまちづくりなどを目指し飯山市が進めるフラワーロード整備事業の一環です。地域住民の自主参加によるこの取り組みに、同クラブは毎年参加しています。
蒸し暑さの中、同クラブ員は額に汗しながら本校で育苗したサルビアなど約３５０本の苗を花壇に植え付け、地域に彩を添えました。
On June 9th, members of the Shimotakai Norin High School FFJ planted bedding flowers in the Iiyama City Flower Road Garden, located within Iiyama Castle Ruins. This effort is part of a city development project promoted by Iiyama city, to create a walkable and enjoyable townscape. Every year, the club participates in this project, which also features the active involvement and support of local volunteer residents.
Despite the hot and humid weather, the club members planted about 350 plants, including salvias grown at school, bringing color to the community.
