

2年生の英語の授業では、教科書テキストを読んだ後の活動として、将来の進路を考える活動を行いました。好きな日本発祥の料理に加え、その生まれた時代や場所について書き共有し合いました。生徒は「クラスメートから様々な日本料理の発祥について学ぶことができた」「意外と知らない日本発祥の料理があった」など活動後に振り返っていました。
In the 2nd-year English class, students engaged in a writing activity where they introduced their favorite Japanese foods and explored their histories as a post-reading activity. In addition to naming their favorite foods, students described when and where in Japan each dish was created. After writing, they shared the summaries with each other.
Japanese cuisine ranges from traditional dishes to western- and Chinese-style ones. Some students reflected, “I learned the history of various kinds of Japanese food” and “I found there are a lot of Japanese food that I didn’t know were Japanese.”
