生徒会は4月9日（水）体育館において対面式を行い、昨日入学した新入生を歓迎しました。２・３年生と新入生は初顔合わせでしたので、双方が少々緊張ぎみでした。
生徒会長は、歓迎のことばに加えて「わからないことがあれば私たち先輩に聞いて、はやく学校生活に慣れ、一緒に生徒会活動を推進していきましょう」と挨拶しました。その後、記念品贈呈と主な活動についてスライドを用いた説明がありました。
同日午後のオリエンテーション時には、部活動や委員会活動の案内があり、全校生徒が揃っての生徒会活動がスタートしました。
On Wednesday, April 9, the Student Council held a welcoming ceremony in the gymnasium to greet the new students who just entered the school the day before. Senior students also looked a little nervous as it was their first time meeting the 1st-year students.
The Student Council president gave a warm welcome speech and added, “I hope you’ll get used to school life soon and help us make the student council better. So, if you have any questions, please feel free to ask us.” After his speech, commemorative gifts were presented to the new students, and they watched a slideshow introducing the student council's main activities.
That afternoon, during the orientation, new students were introduced to club and committee activities. The Student Council activities started with all the students together this year.
