11月8日（金）生命に感謝し収穫を祝う令和6年度収穫祭が挙行されました。 式典において、今年の作物の収穫や学びの成果についてのお話が学校長や農場主任からありました。引き続き、各種大会等において優れた成績を収めた生徒の表彰、農業クラブの活動報告、そして「オラの日米おもしろお金講座」と題したダニエル・カール氏による講演が行われました。 お昼には、本校で生産されたお米、野菜、豚肉を材料とした赤飯と豚汁を全校生徒職員で食べ、生命に感謝するとともに収穫を皆で祝いました。
On Friday, November 8th, the 2024 Harvest Festival was held to give thanks for life and celebrate this year’s harvest.
During the ceremony, the school principal and farm manager shared this year's crop yield and the results of students’ work. Following this, students who achieved outstanding results in various competitions were awarded, the Agriculture Club gave activity reports, and Mr. Daniel Karl delivered a lecture titled “My Japan-U.S. Interesting Money Story.”
For lunch, all the students and staff enjoyed O-Sekihan (red rice) and pork miso soup, both made with rice, vegetables, and pork produced at our school, coming together in gratitude and celebration.
