９月３０日（月）から１０月２日（火）まで、下高井農林高校では秋のキャリアウィークが行われました。１年生は農家へ、２年生は進路希望に応じた企業や学校を訪問し、研修や体験をしました。りんご農家を訪れた一年生は、葉摘みや収穫作業をし、学校では学ぶ機会の少ない果樹について学ぶ貴重な機会になりました。２年生はペットショップ、観光施設などで、仕事を体験させてもらっていました。３日間の研修の中で、接客業を目指す生徒は「この業界に入って良かったことややりがい、大変な事などたくさんのことを教えて頂きとても良い経験になりました」と述べていました。
From September 30th to October 2nd, Shimotakai Norin High School held its Fall Career Week. The first-year students visited local farmers, while the second-year students visited companies or school according to their career interests to gain hands-on experience in various jobs. Some first-year students visited an apple farm, where they engaged in removing leaves and harvesting apples. Since they have fewer opportunities to learn about fruit farming in the school courses, this was a valuable experience for them. The second-year students visited different sites such as stores and tourist facilities, to gain experience in the workplace. During the three-day program, one student interested in the service industry said, “The staff shared rewarding and challenging experiences in this industry, and I found them very helpful for my future career.”
