２年生の地域資源活用の授業では、植物の栽培だけでなく動物の飼育やその利用について学んでいます。先日、産業創造コース２年生は、乗馬体験をしました。馬は産業動物であり、物を運んだり人を乗せたりなどの役割を担うことができます。家畜として利用するためには、生徒が動物に慣れるだけでなく、動物が人間に慣れることも重要です。学校で飼育しているのは木曽馬で、おとなしく人懐っこい性格のため、生徒が学ぶ教材として活用されています。

Horses are industrial animals and can play roles such as transporting goods and carrying people. In order to be used as livestock, it is important not only for students to get used to the animals but also for the animals to get used to humans. The horses raised at Norin High School are Kiso Horses, which are gentle and friendly, making them appropriate for students to learn with.
