6月8日日曜日に第1回の「農林DEリフレッシュ」が開催されました。この活動は、木育活動とデジタルデトックスの関係をテーマとして課題研究を行なっている環境創造コースの３年生が企画しました。小学生に木育活動を体験してもらうことで自然の楽しさを知り、環境への興味を持ってもらうことを目的にしています。
今回は、飯山市内の小学３年生から6年生までの計17名が参加してくれました。小学生は、「ウッドカレンダー作り」「樹木探しスタンプラリー」「ピザ釜体験」の3つの活動を楽しみました。
小学生も高校生も初めは緊張していたものの、一緒に木育活動を楽しむ中で打ち解けて、最後には誰もが笑顔で楽しんでいました！木育活動の楽しさを小学校に伝えられたいい活動だったと思います。
今回の活動の反省を活かして第2回、第3回の農林DEリフレッシュに繋げていきます。
On Sunday, June 8, we held the first “Refresh with Agriculture and Forestry” event at Norin High School. This event was planned by a team of third-year students in the Environmental Creation Course, who study the relationship between wood education and digital detox.
The event aims to give elementary school children opportunities to enjoy nature and to become interested in the environment through outdoor activities.
That day, 17 children in the third to sixth grades from three elementary schools participated in the event. They experienced making calendars out of wood, taking part in a tree stamp rally, and cooking pizza in a pizza oven.
At first, not only the children but also the high school students who organized the event looked nervous. But, as they worked on these activities together, they gradually relaxed and enjoyed talking with each other, In the end, everyone looked happy, and the event was a success.
After the event, student organizers shared their ideas for improvements and discussed how to make the future events better.
