5月18日、夏を先取りしたかのように気温の高くなったこの日、農業と環境の授業では一年生が田植えを行いました。素足で田んぼに入り、土の感触に悲鳴を上げたり、時には土まみれになったりしながら、手で水田に稲を植えました。
異なる区画に異なる植え方をすることで、成長過程や収穫量を授業で研究します。
On May 18, when temperatures rose as if summer had arrived early, the first-year students transplanted rice in their Agriculture and Environment class. They planted the rice barefoot in the paddy fields by hand, sometimes shouting at the feel of the mud and getting covered in it.
By using different planting methods in different parts of the field, the students will study the growth process and yield of the rice in their classes.
