近隣の水田にも水が入りはじめた5月12日（火）環境創造コース2年生を対象とした農業土木・水利研修が行われました。これは、北信地域振興局農地整備課様による出前授業です。
上堰頭首工、中村堰頭首工、上堰円筒分水工、そして大塚沖ポンプ場において、生徒たちは同課の方の説明に耳を傾け、メモをとっていました。本校に戻ってから行われた座学では、長野県の農業の特徴や、その多くが農業土木によって整備された環境の上で成り立っていることなどを、わかりやすく教えていただきました。
このように、水利施設の見学や座学を通して、生徒は地域の農業土木・水利について理解を深めることができました。これも貴重な学びの場を与えてくださった同課の皆様のおかげです。ありがとうございました。
On Tuesday, May 12, as water began to fill the nearby rice paddies, a practical training on agricultural engineering and water management was held for second-year students in the Environmental Creation course. This was an outreach class provided by the Farmland Development Division of the Hokushin Regional Development Bureau.
At the Uwasegi Headworks, Nakamuraseki Headworks, Uwasegi Circular Tank Diversion Works, and Otsukaoki Pumping Station, the students listened carefully to explanations from the division staff and took notes. After returning to school, the staff gave a classroom lesson. They explained the characteristics of agriculture in Nagano Prefecture and how agricultural engineering supports local farming.
Through visits to water facilities and classroom lessons, the students were able to learn more about local agricultural engineering and water management. We would like to thank the division staff for providing this valuable learning opportunity.
