4月8日（水）夕方、下高井農林高校で仔牛が誕生しました。
予定日を大きく過ぎての出産となりましたが、この日は奇しくも令和8年度入学式。誕生の瞬間を見守ってきた関係者にとって、喜びもひとしおの一日となりました。
生まれてすぐ、親牛に促されながら懸命に立ち上がろうとする仔牛の姿からは、自然界で生き抜くことの厳しさと、生命の持つ力強さが感じられました。
新しい命の誕生の場に立ち会えること――。
それは、下高井農林高校で学ぶ生徒たちにとって、命と真剣に向き合うことのできる、かけがえのない学びの機会であり、本校ならではの特権といえるでしょう。
On the evening of Wednesday, April 8, a calf was born at Shimotakai Norin High School.
Though it was born later than expected, the day was also the 2026 entrance ceremony. For those involved who had supported the birth, it was a joyful day.
Immediately after birth, the calf, helped by its mother, tried its best to stand up. It showed us the harsh reality of survival in nature and the power of life.
To see the birth of a new life is truly special.
