３年生の英語の授業では、三年生が英語でプレゼンに挑戦しました。２学期からSDGｓについて英語で学び、各自の興味関心に応じて調べ、課題、原因、そしてその解決法を英語でプレゼンしました。発表後にはクラスメートからの温かいコメントに加え、教員やALTの先生から鋭い質問が発表者には待っていました。どの生徒も、自信を持って堂々と発表していました。興味関心のある内容を英語を通して学ぶことで、実用的な英語力を深められたようです。
In our third-year English class, students gave presentations in English today. Throughout the second semester, they have been studying the SDGs and researching topics that interest them. In their presentations, they explained the issues they identified, the causes behind them, and possible solutions they suggested.
After each presentation, classmates gave warm comments in English, and the presenters answered insightful questions from the teacher and the ALT—all in English. Every student looked confident and focused.
Their English skills have clearly grown through learning and presenting on topics they truly care about.
