11月8日、飯山市の小学校3年生〜6年生を対象に、今年度3回目となる木育・アウトドア体験を実施しました！この活動をしているのは環境創造コース3年生の木育班です。今回は、デジタルから離れて自然を満喫する「デジタルデトックス」をテーマに、盛りだくさんのプログラムを用意しました。
・地元の恵みで「ものづくり」体験！フォールディングチェア製作！
地元産のスギ材を使って、自分だけのオリジナル椅子を作りました。
【ここがこだわり！】 椅子の布地は、なんとスギの樹皮で染め上げた特製！地元の恵みを丸ごと活かした、世界に一つだけの椅子が完成しました。
・校内探検＆たき火クッキング！
甘い香りがするカツラの葉や、着火剤にぴったりの松ぼっくりなどを夢中で探し回りました！笑顔あふれる「たき火調理」たき火でペッパーライスを調理！みんなで協力して作るご飯は格別で、最高の笑顔があふれていました
ものづくりやアウトドア体験を通じて得た刺激と感動は、きっと子どもたちのかけがえのない財産になったはずです。自然の中で五感をフル活用し、「非日常」を楽しむ貴重な時間となりました。
On November 8th, we had the third Wood Education and Outdoor Experience of this year for third- to sixth-grade students from Iiyama City. This activity was planned by the Wood Education Team of third-year students in the Environmental Creation Course.
🪑 Making Folding Chairs!
The children made their own folding chairs using local cedar wood.
Special Point: The cloth for the chairs was colored with cedar bark. Each chair was special and one of a kind!
🔥 School Exploration and Campfire Cooking!
The children looked for sweet-smelling katsura leaves and pine cones that were good for starting fires. Then, they cooked pepper rice over a campfire. Everyone worked together, and their food tasted great! Everyone was full of smiles!
The children enjoyed making things and spending time outdoors. They used all five senses to feel and enjoy nature. It was a wonderful day full of smiles and good memories.
