一年生の農業と環境の授業では、今週末の収穫祭のために大根と白菜の収穫を行いました。白菜の一部には軟腐病にかかっているものもあり、病気の症状についても実際に確認することができました。大根については、害虫や細菌による被害を防ぐために伸びすぎている下葉を取り除きました。白菜と大根の収穫方法について確認したのち、収穫祭に必要な量を測って収穫しました。
In the first-year Agriculture and Environment class, students harvested Chinese cabbages and daikon radishes, which will be cooked in the school’s Harvest Festival on Friday. Some of the Chinese cabbages had developed soft rot disease, which students observed firsthand. They also removed long hanging leaves of the radish, which prevents insect and bacterial damage. Following the teacher’s instructions, students harvested the necessary amount while calculating the total weight.
