What is the Kinshi Festival?
The Kinshi Fesvial refers to Nagano Senior High School’s annual cultural festival, which takes place in early July. In late June when the general examinations are over, class members, club members, volunteers and festival staff join together to plan and produce the festival with concentrated efforts in a short timeframe.
Of course, the festival management and staff hold a prior series of meetings to ensure that preparations for the festival progress smoothly. Energetic activities continue from festival eve to final cleanup, making this period the busiest time in the school year. But once the cleanup is over on Monday, our school promptly returns to normal and students are again devoted to study as usual. This impressive shift is another unique trait of Nagano Senior High School.
