The Principal's Message

Our school was founded in the 9th year of the Taisyo period (in 1920) .@We are proud of this long history and tradition.
@We have magnificent views of the Southern Alps in the east and Central Alps in the west.@A farm belt of orchards and rice fields are spread throughout the surrounding countryside.@Our school stands surrounded by nature with rich greenery and the comfortable weather during all seasons.
@As a school in the local community with these characteristics, we have been serving to produce minds who work for the development of agriculture, industry and culture in this area. Our school is called "Shimo-no" as a nickname and is valued by the community in various fields.
@With the help of the sun, greenery and the earth, and through the experience of growing and taking care of the living things, our school strives to work on making a place with a speciality in creative ways and to give an education for the whole person to have a proper mind and healthy body.
@We also respect students' personalities and provide them an academic foundation while giving them many opportunities for their growth and self-development.
@Furthermore we strive to teach them to recognize the importance of life and educate the hearts and minds of the students.
@In recent years our school clubs have been very active in games, matches and contests.@They work to excel in both academic and physical arts.@
@While we try to deepen the relationship between their families, communities and school, we believe our discipline will be appreciated. We aspire to maintain a reputable school which will be reflected by the voice of the community and be open to the community.
