Games and Activities

The internet is a great source of ideas for
activities. Many of my lesson plans are based on ideas found in AJET (the
Association for Japan Exchange and Teaching) publications such as Team Taught
Pizza. I must also credit the bank of collective knowledge and experience in
the JET community ofNagano, Thanks everyone!
Pictionary always goes down well, as does
anything that doesnft really feel like work!
Word relay activities practice vocabulary
and constructions in a fun and competitive atmosphere. Our Halloween treasure
hunt was a great success and we have all enjoyed apple bobbing and other games.
Musical chairs is a particular favorite with the students answering questions
in English when they are eoutf.
